_edited.jpg)
~A moment when fire, life, and nature are quietly connected~
The kilns run by Urahoro Charcoal Co. are rarely close to town center. Led by a guide from Taiwan, discover the story of Urahoro charcoal-making, a tradition passed down since 1921.
Engage all five senses to experience the story of charcoal, people, and nature living in harmony.
Through hands-on experiences such as wood-chopping, carrying logs, and grilling mochi/marshmallow, both children and adults can feel the warmth and wisdom passed down through generations.
By the end of this journey, we hope you'll understand and respect why this tradition is worth protecting.

Stroll through the shrine with 130 years of history.
The guide will introduce the history of this 130-year-old shrine and its deep bond with Urahoro Charcoal.
